Ancho was founded by sailors and engineers who wanted clearer, more reliable tools for life on the water. Anchoring was the frustration that started it — guessing how much line was out — but our focus is broader: smarter marine sailing, from weekend cruises to long passages.

Our first product is a winch-mounted sensor and companion app that measure line deployment in real time, helping you dial in scope, track conditions, and remember every good anchorage. It’s one piece of a wider vision for confident, measured sailing.
